Meg Ryan, whose full name is Margaret Mary Emily Anne Hyra, was born on November 19, 1961. She is an actress from the United States. She started her acting career in 1981, starring in a drama film called Rich and Famous. In 1982, she joined the cast of the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. During the 1980s, Ryan appeared in movies like Top Gun, Promised Land (1987), and the romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally… (1989), directed by Rob Reiner. Her performance in When Harry Met Sally… earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe award.
